Sorry this got up a day late gang. Unfortunately, as stated before, my gig on Dancing with the Stars is really playing a number on my production schedule. I guess I just have to get started earlier drawing now, don't I?

So, about this week's ep...

Well, we all dreaded it. None of us wanted to think it, but we all knew it was possible-- the death of another beloved character.

Was it going to be Bill? Or Aaron? Or Jack?
...yeah, like it's gonna be Jack.

William Buchanan went out with a bang. Literally.
But he also went out a hero and a true patriot of the United States of America.
He didn't whimper.
He didn't cry.
He didn't beg for his life.
He took destiny into his own hands, and sacrificed himself for the good of the country.
And frankly-- other than of course having him live-- I can't think of a more honorable way to send the character off. They also gave him the silent clock, so please fans, no "hoping" for a miracle resurrection. Let him go. Let him go.
I also think this is the longest consistent "tribute" they've given to a fallen character, having Jack linger through the commercial break near Bill's body, speaking highly of him and his convictions upon returning.

Bill, we are all going to miss you. I just hope Karen actually gets a mention this time when she gets the bad news. Not likely, I'm afraid.

Incidentally, I actually have a part 2 to today's strip--I'm hoping to get it up perhaps later today, but don't count your breath-- I have to head into work again. ^_^

Finally, if you get the chance (and you haven't stopped reading), check out WCG Ultimate Gamer on SciFi which premiered last night. I also worked on that show start to finish, and it turned out not too shabby. Being an avid gamer, I tried to keep 'em in check as best I could to "keep it real". ;)

It all happened so fast; it really caught me off guard. Probably the best death they've given a character since Edgar's in Season 5.

Though I don't know if that was a "good" death. The poor fella died in agony, choking on his own saliva, feeling every ounce of his body seize up and fail simultaneously.

But at least someone shed a tear for him. God, those two hours were a bloodbath.

Well, he died because he cared, and that made it honorable in my mind. And honor is what counts.

He was a good man, and he shall be missed.

I'll drink to that.

HAHA NICE. Great comic! X] Thanks for the awesome speech on Bill. His death hit me ridiculously hard. I will desperately miss him, he was a fave of mine. <3

Heh, great comic. Was exactly what I was thinking.

I'm not even going to try to express the disappointment I have with 24.

Bill will be missed. Greatly.

Oh, don't be too harsh on the show--it was a noble death, and you have to admit it's still a great season at this point.

Thanks for the comic love!

I'm holding out till the end to pass my final judgment. But my dislike isn't from his death. He did get a good death.

I haven't been happy with it for about the past 4 episodes.

Ah, Frank and Earl...how I have missed thee. Glad to see they are still around.

Who knows? Maybe during the summer hiatus, we can see what they have been up to? *wink*wink*nudge*nudge* :P

Oh yeah, the boys will always be there to clean up Jack's mess.
I like workin' with them. ^^
Heck, I could turn them into their own comic really-- but I got enough on my plate as is.
